National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is an organization that concentrates on four traits with all its members. Those traits include Character, Service, Leadership, and Scholarship. At the beginning of a student’s junior year, students are invited to apply for membership into the James M. Clayton chapter of the NHS. Students need a weighted average of at least 97% to be invited. Students who apply are then rated by faculty, and must show examples of their service and leadership to join this exclusive organization.
