IRHS Leo Club

The IRHS Leo Club is a service organization under the supervision of the Fenwick Island Lions Club. Annually, we assist the Lions in their Pancake Breakfast and Spaghetti Dinner in addition to creating holiday crafts for their meals on wheels program out of the Pile Center. During the Fall of 2012, we held an extremely successful children’s book drive, and an item drive benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. During the spring we have planned a visit to A.I. DuPont Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware to lift the spirits of the inpatients while reinforcing our love of reading through a donation of Dr. Seuss books. Locally, we adopt a family for the holidays, spend time crafting with the residents of Brandywine Assisted Living, and replenish the dune grass along our coast. With 170 members we have had enormous participation and hope to continue our success in service for years to come.
